Member Spotlight: Accu-Steel

About Accu-Steel

Accu-Steel is an Audubon, Iowa-based manufacturer of engineered, fabric-covered steel buildings. We play a critical role in Iowa’s agribusiness by designing durable, cost-effective flat storage buildings for agriculture businesses and local farms across the state and the U.S.

Services Offered

We manufacture fabric-covered buildings for grain, fertilizer, chemicals, hay, aggregates and equipment storage in addition to livestock. We’re also proud to offer custom design, engineering, installation, and service support.

What Makes Accu-Steel Unique

Our buildings combine 100% hot-dip galvanized steel and stainless-steel components for corrosion resistance with durable Enduro-Loc™ fabric, offering long lifespans and industry leading warranties. Additionally, our structures are clear span for maximum flexibility, and we custom design each building around each customer’s unique needs.

What Accu-Steel Values Most About AAI Membership

We appreciate that it further connects us with Iowa's agriculture community and the opportunity to support fellow ag businesses and producers with innovative, Iowa-made storage solutions. Being part of this association helps us stay plugged into the ever-changing needs of local operations and contribute to the ag industry’s statewide success.

Recent Successes

We recently constructed a prototype solar-integrated building at our headquarters that has been running fully off-grid since May 4, 2025. It’s powering a cattle barn, office, and residence using flexible rooftop solar and battery storage. This project is a reflection of Accu-Steel proving out new, innovative solutions.

Something You Might Not Know About Accu-Steel

Many may not realize that although we build fabric-covered buildings, we take a lot of pride in the design of our steel frames—which are 100% hot-dip galvanized for superior durability. Also, our company is rooted in Iowa, with our manufacturing facility located in Audubon for over 25 years.
