FieldWatch Recognizes Leadership, Collaborative Efforts of Agribusiness Association of Iowa
Collaboration and stewardship were key topics at the FieldWatch annual meeting this week as FieldWatch CEO Stephanie Regagnon presented the Agribusiness Association of Iowa with an award for leadership.
Twelve different companies and associations worked together to provide funding for provide the initial purchase and setup of the FieldWatch sensitive crop and bee hive registries in Iowa. The donations came through the Agribusiness Association of Iowa Foundation from the Iowa Agriculture Aviation Association, Syngenta Crop Protection, Dow AgroScience, GROWMARK Foundation, Monsanto, BASF, Bayer CropScience, Iowa Wine Growers Association, Crop Production Services, Inc., Helena Chemical, and Meridian Agriculture.
The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship is encouraging producers with sensitive crops or bee hives to register their field and hive locations using FieldWatch, and encouraging pesticide applicators to use the free system in their application planning. Visit

The FieldWatch online tool is provided to help facilitate communication between commercial applicators and those growing sensitive crops. The collaborative tool is being used in 14 states across the US.
