"Raggedy Ruth" Hits A "Home Run"!
The
"Autumn's Indian Summer" wallhanging displays a star motif, framed by scroll brackets, surrounding a central cluster of Indian corn. A beautiful accent for any room, at any time.
The fabric color choices used celebrate the Autumn season. However, you can choose fabric colors that highlight other concepts, such as the southwest, to ensure that it is a year-round celebration.
This wallhanging features blocks resembling arrow heads that are grouped together to form a star. The quilt center features a unique appliquéd bouquet of 3 ears of Indian corn, complete with husks, tied with a bow. The appliqué continues with the addition of scroll brackets in the corner squares to frame the star.
The authentic Indian corn fabric used on the quilt was printed on fabric from photos of real Indian corn. The picture-printed fabric to make a set of three ears of corn is included in this pattern.
All appliqué items are shown individually as well as in layout format. This allows you to make the individual appliqué items using printable or normal webbing. It also assists you in assembling the appliqué using an appliqué pressing sheet. This allows you to obtain the same results as "Raggedy" Ruth.
