Earth Quaker Action Team Walk
Join Earth Quaker Action Team (EQAT) April 18th- 22nd for Vanguard's Big Climate Problem Walk, culminating in a vibrant action at Vanguard’s global headquarters in Malvern, PA on Earth Day, April 22.
See the Toolkit PSR PA created for this event.
Vanguard's business strategy makes it a major driver of climate destruction and environmental racism. It is the largest global investor in coal, oil, and gas. It's also a top investor in polluting industries in Chester, as well as companies violating Indigenous rights, like Enbridge.
Vanguard could be a leader instead of a laggard. The company could use its power to pressure the companies destroying our communities to do better, but first we need to pressure Vanguard to do what’s right.

Sign-on: Call on Congress to Investigate Gas Stoves
Gas stoves emit health-harming pollutants, including nitrogen dioxide and carbon monoxide. Exposure to these pollutants can exacerbate pre-existing respiratory illnesses and lead to the development of asthma in children.
By calling for a congressional hearing, we hope to bring attention to the health and safety issues posed by gas stove pollution and to explore potential regulatory actions that the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission could take to better protect public health. Sign your name to the letter to show your support for investigating and publicizing the health risks of gas stoves.
Learn more and attend PSR PA's upcoming webinar 'Cooking With Gas: Health Harms from Gas Stoves' on May 13, 2022, 1-2PM register here.

Sign-on: Tell the Biden Administration: NO Bomb Trains!
Liquified natural gas (LNG) bomb trains were given a greenlight to roll through cities and towns across our country by a 2019 Trump executive order. This is incredibly dangerous, as a train derailment would allow this liquid to become highly explosive gas — the LNG from just one rail tank car alone could cause city-wide destruction and mass casualties. Twenty-two tank cars filled with LNG holds the equivalent energy of the Hiroshima bomb.
The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration's (PHMSA) permit to transport LNG has expired and they are now deciding how to handle the application.
Pennsylvanians have been lobbying PHMSA and the Biden administration to permanently ban LNG bomb trains and protect their communities from large-scale explosions and disasters.
