The Wetzel-Tyler Chamber of Commerce would like to invite the community to help us officially welcome Jalapenos to the local community this Wednesday, May 12, as they celebrate their grand opening!
Jalapenos first opened last summer during the height of COVID-19 with take-out only. Over the winter they began a soft open, but now, they are ready to cut the ribbon and let the community know that they are ready to serve with an open with indoor seating, carry out, and a fully stocked bar area.
Located in the New Martinsville Plaza beside Dollar General, Japalenos is a full-service restaurant offering a delicious selection of traditional Mexican favorites and an array of special libations guaranteed to satisfy the multitudes.
Join us Wednesday to help welcome Jalapenos to the community. The ribbon-cutting is planned for 5:30, the perfect time to come and celebrate, then stick around for supper!
This week's Local Trivia Challenge is sponsored by Peoples Bank! One lucky person who sends in the correct answer will randomly be chosen to win a peoples bank gift basket and a $25 Chamber Community Cash Certificate which can be used at one of over 30 local merchants or restaurants.

From where did Tyler County get its name?

If you know the answer to this week's question, send the answer to our Facebook page as a private message or email your answer to: Office@WetelCountyChamber.com
The correct answer to last week's Local Trivia Challenge was Benjamin Moore Paint. The staff or Riggenbach's Tile and Carpet have over 100 years of combined knowledge. That's just the kind of support you need when doing your home improvement project.
