Before getting on to the trends of 2022 as promised in the last newsletter, I’d like to take a moment to share a few quotes by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. that still hold so much relevance for today and the challenging times that we are in:

·        “I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. This is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant.”

·        “True peace is not merely the absence of tension; it is the presence of justice.”

·        “A lie cannot live.”

·        “Intelligence plus character—that is the goal of true education.”

·        “There comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but he must take it because conscience tells him it is right.”

·        “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.”

·         “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”
