I am happy to announce that the Wetzel-Tyler Chamber of Commerce is upgrading our website! We have contracted with new member, Eric Hersey Web Designs for the work and we couldn’t be more excited at the prospects of all that this new design can offer to our members and community partners.

The package that we have chosen is the WebPlus+ and it’s a real powerhouse! Members will be able to post their own calendar of events and help to keep their activities front and center for visitors to the site. As many of you know, we are very short staffed, so we are trying to streamline our input while offering a very polished, user-friendly website experience. Our expected launch date is early June, so please stay tuned. I think that you’ll love the changes!

Pearl Sydenstricker Buck is a Nobel and Pulitzer Prize-winning author from Hillsboro West Virginia. Her book "The Good Earth" was America’s bestselling fiction title in 1931 and 1932 and won the 1932 Pulitzer Prize.
The WV Country Roads Festival Queens are excited to bring you the 2023 Shamrock Pageant to be held Saturday, March 11, at Connection Church in Paden City. Registration will start at 11 am, with the pageant beginning at 12pm. 

The entry fee is $40 per child (emailed application) or $50 at the door, which includes all optionals (Most Beautiful/ Most Handsome, Prettiest Eyes, Prettiest Hair, and Prettiest Smile).

Last day to email in applications is March 6, 2023!

Baby Miss: 0-1 year
Baby Mister: 0-1 year
Toddler Miss: 2-3 years
Toddler Mister: 2-3 years
Tiny Miss: 4-6 years
Tiny Mister: 4-6 years
Jr Miss: 7-9 years
Jr Teen: 10-12 years

*We must have at least 3 contestants in a category to hold that competition* 

Admission will be $5 per person. Ages 5 and under will be admitted free. Visiting Royalty with a WV Fairs and Festivals title will be admitted free with Sash.
