Take a drive to Wheeling this weekend (it really isn’t that far) and take in the Grecian Festival. The food is fantastic! It runs through Saturday.
The Tyler County 59th Annual Fair is packed with entertainment, kids activities, pageants, rides and so much more! Dates are August 1st through August 6th.
The 61st Annual Town & Country Days is back with a blockbuster lineup that you simply cannot miss! August 15th to August 20th.
Coming in September is the 74th Paden City Labor Day Celebration on September 3rd through the 5th. Their parade has drawn visitors from near and far. It is considered one of the premier parades in West Virginia! They are offering, high school marching bands, entertainment and so much more! The parade honors the working men and women who keep our country moving forward.
Sistersville Oil and Gas Festival is scheduled for September 15th through the 17th. This is the 54th year for this event! Are you seeing a pattern here with all of these long standing celebrations? This event offers giveaways, food booths, a flea market, entertainment, oil and gas expo, and crafts just to name a few things to see and enjoy.
The area’s newest festival is the WV Country Roads Festival holding their inaugural event on September 17th. There will be crafts, vendors, a petting zoo, pet show and a children’s pageant. Come out and show this new festival some love! You’re sure to see your friends and neighbors there.
Paden City is hosting the Marble Festival September 23rd to the 24th in partnership with the Wetzel County Convention and Visitors Bureau. You are sure to be amazed at the beautiful glass items that you’ll see (not only marbles—as cool as they are) but some of the glass that is such a rich part of our local history.
The RegattaFest is back for another exciting season of boat races, a car show, Pause for Paws, kids activities, music, food and so much more! The dates are September 24th to the 25th. Talk about longevity…this is the 84th year and still going strong!
