Yesterday, right after our Small Business Breakfast Club meeting at the Banker’s Corner in Sistersville, I wanted to show Rosann Ferro, Regional Representative from Senator Manchin’s office, the Sistersville Emporium (I love that place!). Fortunately, owner Terry Wiley was there and very excited to share with us his latest venture.

Terry is the owner of the Sistersville Emporium, Banker’s Corner, the Gaslight Theater, the Sistersville Museum, and the Sistersville Florist! He’s a man on a mission with a real passion for cherishing and preserving the rich heritage of downtown Sistersville.

Terry’s latest project is sure to bring people to the area, as well as provide Sistersville Ferry Boat travelers a wonderful place to eat after a scenic ferry boat ride. He has created an incredibly charming restaurant at the Joshua Russell House that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  It is located on Catherine Street near the ferry boat landing. The closer Terry comes to opening, we will keep you posted. In the meantime, take a look at pictures of this lovely space. I can’t wait to dine there! It is wheelchair accessible. Credit/debit cards will be accepted.
