Take No Thought!!! 6/4/25 Joshua Drucker

Take NO Thought!!! 6/4/25 Joshua Drucker

FINALLY, a much requested message from my beloved son, Joshua Drucker!!! He is presently incarcerated in Macon State Prison, having been miraculously delivered from a death sentence. Many folks have asked to hear from him again-I PRAY you are blessed by his unique viewpoints from inside a maximum correctional facility as he serves his LORD AND SAVIOR Jesus Christ. After all, the Bible does declare:

1 John 1:9 (KJV 1900)

9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Matthew 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.".

As I lay in my bed last night my mind was filled with worry. Not just a average worry about simple things, but things that if those worries came true my life would spiral downhill.

Yesterday was an exhausting day.

The night before I was awake until 1 am., and I awoke a few hours later at 4:30.

I had previously fasted two different times this week for two days each time and I was obviously doing something that the devil wasn't happy with. Both fast were the hardest fast I had ever done. Not only were the hunger pains intense, but I suffered with bad anxiety, body pains and sleepless nights.

A simple Bible reader should know that whenever one fast the devil always shows up, “uninvited” to the party in the wilderness.

Luke 4:2 being tempted forty days by the devil. And in those days He ate nothing…

After awaking at 4:30 I began my day thinking it would be a normal day. I read a few scriptures, prayed some prayers and started cleaning my room and preparing for the Wardens daily inspection. I knew later that day I would be completing my fast and I was looking forward to feeding my flesh with a Ramon noodle soup. (Prisons steak dinner, smile).

Within a few hours one thing led to another and I was in a “all out” spiritual war. Drama stirred up in my environment and even though I wasn't directly involved, I still felt intense spiritual oppression. One thing I have l learned about prison life is that it's like the ocean. One moment the seas will be calm, and the next you will be in a hurricane.

For most of the day waves kept on crashing into my spirit. I was physically exhausted from lack of sleep the night before and my body was weak as a kitten from lack of food. Any seasoned believer knows that it's more difficult to stand up to the onslaught of the enemy with a weakened physical body.

I called my friend Erin and she prayed with me and we read some scriptures together. I finally made it to the end of the day and I threw my exhausted body onto my bunk bed thinking I would fall fast asleep. However, the demonic attack didn't cease and my weary mind was now being attacked on my pillow.

Dear reader, can you relate to what I call “pillow assaults”?

Assaults that keep pounding your mind as you try to fall asleep? Assaults that keep you tossing and turning until the early hours of morning? A picture show in HD of what is “about to happen” in your life? Gloom and doom telling you THIS IS THE BIG ONE?

Can anyone relate?

The time was nearing midnight and I feared another sleepless night. However, something clicked inside of my spirit and I was reminded of a familiar verse in Matthew.

Matthew 6:34Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.".

The words “take no thought” burst into my spirit and I felt like the Holy Spirit handed me the exact weapon for THIS WAR. I immediately began confessing, “Take No Thought For Tomorrow “ over and over. I muttered it out of my lips about 100 times and next thing I knew it was 6:30 in the morning. My night was peaceful and I awoke like a new man.

How often over the course of this Christian journey does the trials and cares of life keep us up all night? Sapping energy for days, and at times weeks over issues we can do nothing about? And how often do we battle with “false illusions” that never come to pass?

We battle and battle, and in reality we can't do anything. Either because it's not in our power, or simply….it's not “tomorrow “ yet, therefore we cannot handle it TODAY.

The Bible says in Psalms 127:2 that “it's vain for you to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrow”. It also says in Matthew 6:27 “which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?”

You may be that “someone” that is battling with a problem that you cannot solve.

A issue that is keeping you up all night and breaking your focus for today.

My word to you is “Take No thought”.

Every time that problem arises in your mind confess out of your mouth over and over, “take no thought “. Even if you have to do it 100 times. There's power in the spoken word.

Then, “Take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to STAND”. Ephesians 6:13)

Stand in the fact that God is going to take care of the situation. You may not know how or when but you stand on the fact that “ no weapon formed against you shall prosper”. (Isaiah 54:17)

I often tell people that the Bible never says the weapon won't “form”.

Many times the weapon forms. It's the weapon formed against you thar keeps you up half the night. However, the bible does state that “it shall not prosper”. I was given a death sentence in 2011. However, in 2018 it was thrown out. The weapon formed but did not prosper.

Take no thought for tomorrow.

In the NKJV it says “do not WORRY about tomorrow “. God will never give you strength for tomorrow, today.

Deuteronomy 33:25 As your days, so shall your strength be.
