Also, a reminder to mark your calendars for the 6th Annual Bridge the Gap 5K on February 15th over the Blue Heron Bridge in Singer Island. We hope to see you all there!

PROGRAM NEWS

FAFSA Workshop at Forest Hill High School

Take Stock in Children Palm Beach County hosted an engaging and informative FAFSA workshop at Forest Hill High School. The event was designed to guide students through the essential process of completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), a critical step in accessing financial aid for post-secondary education.

The workshop provided students with detailed instructions on completing the FAFSA accurately, ensuring they understood each section of the application. Topics included gathering required documentation, navigating the online application system, and identifying key deadlines. Students also learned about the types of financial aid available, such as grants, scholarships, work-study opportunities, and federal loans.

In addition to the comprehensive walkthrough of the FAFSA process, students had the opportunity to ask questions and receive one-on-one support from knowledgeable TRiO staff members. This personalized assistance ensured that every student felt confident in completing their application.

We are proud to have supported our students in taking this important step toward securing their financial future and pursuing their educational goals. A special thank you to TRiO, the staff at Forest Hill High School for hosting us, and to all the students who participated with enthusiasm and determination!
