OCMA is excited to share recent progress on the new building:
- Art installation is in progress
- The ceiling in the Pavilion Galleries is complete
- Finishing touches are being put in the Mezzanine Gallery
- The Lower Grand Stair construction is in progress

Take a Backstage Tour of Segerstrom Center for the Arts
Tour on Monday, September 19 at 1pm
South Coast Metro Alliance invites you to take a special behind the scenes tour of the Segerstrom Center campus. The tour will be an exciting journey led by Segerstrom Center Docents that includes visits to areas rarely seen by the general public, such as the magnificent lobbies to the grand Segerstrom Hall stage. The tour will begin at 1:00 pm on Monday, September 19. The tour will be approximately one hour and will begin at the Box Office.

South Coast Plaza celebrates the Autumn Harvest Festival now through September 11. The lunar holiday is a tradition among many Asian cultures and is known as the Chinese Mid-Autumn or Moon Festival, the Korean Cheosuk and the Vietnamese Tet Trung Thu. It is observed on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month – when the moon is believed to be at its fullest and brightest during the year. This holiday is a time for gathering (the full moon signifies family reunion), thanksgiving (for a good harvest) and praying (for good fortune).
