Mother Lauren Stanley of the Rosebud Episcopal Mission
on the Sioux Reservation in South Dakota will host a
Virtual Mission Trip this year - and invites Trinity Parishioners
of all ages to join in the experience.
Mother Lauren will share a series of videos showing us life on the reservation, providing insights into Lakota culture, and giving us a look at all the things we would have been doing if we were there in person.
“It’s a way to keep people in touch with us and to show that, yes, even though we don’t have mission teams here, we have work that’s ongoing,” says Mother Lauren.

From April 8 - May 6, we'll participate in:
Weekly Zoom Meeting or Activity
Book Discussion of "An Indigenous People's History of the United States," using the young people's edition for readers of all ages
Service Project that we'll video for Mother Lauren to share with the reservation community
Later this summer, we'll host:
Zoom workshop with Sage Fast Dog on Sacred Dance
Pow Wow from the reservation broadcasted on Trinity's front lawn
We need a minimum of 20 people to sign up to book
the Mission Trip.

For a contribution of just $50 per person (or $100 per family), you'll receive copies of the book we'll be reading, personal journal for notetaking and reflection, and you'll help cover Mother Lauren's expenses.
