We wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year as you celebrate with your family and friends! In observance of the holidays the library will be closing at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 23rd and will be closed on December 24th and Christmas day. Normal library hours will resume on Monday, December 27.

Holiday Movie
Bingo!


We will celebrate the yuletide season with a screening of a heartwarming, made-for-tv holiday romance movie at the library! Watch with a friend or with your family. We are also playing BINGO during the movie! Mark every snowball fight, cozy fire, and sleigh ride on your special bingo card. Get BINGO and win prizes!

Space is limited and registration is required.

Santa Visit



Santa Claus will be at the library on Saturday, December 18 from 11 AM - 1 PM. Make sure you bundle up, as this free program will be outside. Bring the kiddos to share their Christmas wishes with Santa. He in turn will be handing out books to every child who comes to see him!

Have you been binging your favorite Christmas movies?! Let's test your memory of this genre during our next Trivia Night. Form your teams (4 ppl. max.) or play individually. Either way, it is sure to be a blast!

Make your participation count! Area adults will be rewarded for each adult In-Person program they attend throughout December. Attend, have fun, and earn a ticket that will enter you into a raffle to win a $25 Amazon Gift card! Attend more programs, and earn more tickets! Sweepstakes raffle will be drawn on Tuesday, December 21.
Quilt Raffle
There is still time to get your quilt tickets! We will be drawing our random winner on Tuesday, December 21. Tickets are 1 for $5 or 3 for $10 and can be purchased at the Circulation Desk. This fun children's quilt was made and donated by Judy Brown!

Gelli Printing
Local artist, Laura Hickey will be demonstrating a new, trending art technique: Gelli printing.
We will layer color, texture, and shapes during this free, in-person program on Wednesday, December 1 at 6 PM. Space is limited and registration is necessary. Click the link below to register.

Building Blocks

Judy Brown, owner of the Little Fabric Garden is back with another great project! Thread those sewing machines and get ready to make this project your own! Building Blocks is a prerecorded program that will premier to the library's Facebook page on Wednesday, December 8 & 15 at 10 AM. Many of our past projects can also be found on the library's YouTube channel.

Join us for a fun, in-person program on Wednesday, December 15 at 6 PM when Janelle Nolan demonstrates how to make a wreath with pages from a book!

Adult Book Club

The next club meeting will be Saturday, January 15 at 10 AM. January's book has not been selected yet. However, once it has been, we will inform all club members.


YOGA SCULPT
Local yoga instructor, Kathy Wright, is leading a FREE, 30-minute, in-person yoga program at the library! Yoga Sculpt combines the benefits of traditional yoga with the benefits of strength training. Using light weights or just body weight, participants will improve endurance and mobility, while also toning muscles and strengthening their body.
This program also streams Live on the library's Facebook page on Monday, December 6 & 20 at 6 PM.

Upcycle This!
Join us Thursdays at 12:00 p.m. for this biweekly, virtual program December 2, 16, and 30 at 12 PM
We complete a variety of craft projects with materials easily found at home or a local thrift store.
"Upcycle This!" is a prerecorded video that premiers on the library's Facebook page, so you can enjoy it any time that is convenient for you!

Contest

What is your Christmas wish? Send us your most important wish for this holiday in the form of a picture, letter, or video by December 21 to be entered into our contest. A random winner will be chosen for a Chamber of Commerce gift certificate. This contest is open to all area youth (0 - 18 yrs old). Send all entries to Miss Debbie using the link below.
Christmas Ornament Workshop

Come and create a Christmas ornament this year at the library. Wooden ornaments and paint will be provided for this free program that is open to all ages! Visit the library on Monday, December 13 from 5 - 7 PM.

New Year's Eve Celebration
Marty the Bubble Guy will be helping area children to ring in the New Year on December 31 during a special, outside program!
We'll see you at 11 AM for some fun and hot chocolate! Then, at 12 PM we will celebrate 2022 with confetti!
Story Seekers

Story Seekers is a fun-filled program for 0-5 year old children and their parents or caregivers. Hear great stories, sing a few songs, and complete a craft or two! Story Seekers meets every Monday and Friday at 11 AM. There will be no story time, however, between Christmas and New Years.

Juice Box Heroes

Join Jim Ronan for music and fun on Wednesday, December 15 at 11 AM! Juice Box Heroes is an in-person event that is held in the Children's library. We will be singing, dancing, laughing, and making lots of music!

Evening Storytime is held, virtually every Wednesday at 7 PM. This is a prerecorded event that posts to the library's Facebook page .
