Fourth Friday Gallery Nights are free monthly events where downtown galleries, studios and art spaces open their doors to the public in an after-hours celebration of art and culture. The self-guided tours have made downtown Wilmington a popular destination for art lovers.

The WDI Downtown Scavenger Hunt will take place on Saturday, Feb 25th from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM. This inaugural free event will feature a wide range of downtown merchants, restaurants and historical sites. Participants will be provided with 1 of 4 scavenger hunts including a kid friendly hunt that will take participants on a stroll throughout Downtown.
Prizes will be rewarded for each hunt.

WDI's most visible business event is coming up on March 16 as we host the
Economic Series Luncheon. With attendance exceeding 350 business and civic leaders along with speakers that attract significant media attention, sponsoring the Economic Series luncheon is a magnificent way to align your business with the region's largest and most influential business district, connect with key trendsetters and visibly support the ongoing efforts to grow the local economy.
Elizabeth A. Weirick, the President of Milwaukee Downtown, Business Improvement District #21, will be the keynote speaker on March 16, 2017.

Charity Wristband Application

Wilmington's signature summertime concert series returns for its 12th season to Riverfront Park in Downtown. The concerts will run each Friday night from May 26 through September 1, 2017. The free event is from 6:30pm to 10pm and features both local performers and touring bands. Wilmington Downtown Incorporated (WDI) organizes and directs the event.
WDI is now accepting applications from any charity interested in participating this season. Applications are available by using this link.

Residents and business owners can be the best cheerleaders and promoters of a destination when they spread the word to family, friends and visitors about what a great place it is to live, work and play. The Wilmington and Beaches Convention and Visitors Bureau recently launched a community-wide campaign designed to assist in spreading the word and to celebrate the impact of travel and tourism on the local economy and in the community, businesses and personal lives of the residents.  The Bring It! Downtown Marketing Campaign was created to help market and rebrand downtown Wilmington and to define a universal image for downtown that all businesses can embrace and utilize to create a unified message.
Ultimately, the campaign's goal is to encourage locals and visitors to spend more time in historic downtown Wilmington through branding and education.
