Create a little extra room in your budget this summer with our Defer-a-Payment offer exclusively for members with a First Commerce loan. Whether you've got a summer trip planned or need a little extra money to pay for other expenses, our loan deferral offer gives you the power to take a month off from your regular loan payment. For a $30 per loan fee*, you can pause your loan payments and use the money for other priorities!

To take advantage of this limited-time offer, simply log in to your Digital Banking account and follow these simple steps:

• Select SERVICES in the menu to the left of the page.
• Select DEFER-A-PAYMENT in the drop-down menu.
• Select the eligible loan(s) you would like to defer.
• Select the account you would like the $30 per loan fee* deducted from. Funds need to be available in a savings or checking account with First Commerce. You can write a check for the fee and deposit the funds by mobile deposit with our Digital Banking app and then complete your deferment once your deposit posts. Otherwise, you can stop by any of our convenient locations with cash/check to complete the deferment.
• Click on TERMS and CONDITIONS, check the I ACCEPT box, then click CLOSE before submitting the deferment.
• Click Submit. You will receive a confirmation notification.

PLEASE NOTE: We must receive your loan deferral request before July 31, 2023.

Once we receive your request, we’ll defer the following month of loan payments (one monthly, two semi-monthly, two biweekly, or four consecutive weekly payments).

Not a Digital Banking member yet? Enrollment is quick and easy. All you need is your Account Number, Social Security Number and the Zip Code on file with your account.

When you take advantage of Defer-a-Payment, your loan maturity will be extended and regular payments will resume after the deferred payment period. Finance charges will continue to accrue as explained in the LoanLiner Agreement or Retail Installment Sales Contract during the deferment period. Deferred payments may not be covered under GAP waiver agreements. This offer is not valid on payments already credited.

*This offer is good only for the loans listed in the Digital Banking Defer-a-Payment section of your account. There is a $30 per loan fee known as a FINANCE CHARGE for each loan account deferral in Digital Banking or by mail, fax, or email. Mail in your $30 fee or we can debit it from your FCCU account. The deferment will not be processed without the fee. NOTE: If your payment comes from another institution via transfer initiated by First Commerce, that transfer will be skipped for the loan payment(s) in question and restarted at the next payment cycle if the request is made more than 7 business days prior to scheduled transfer.
