Student Support Network Opens at
Cockeysville Middle School
I was so excited to help lead Student Support Network's first drive at Cockeysville Middle School last week. It was an amazing day to see this come to fruition. On our first day, we served produce, groceries, diapers, gift cards, period packs, bread and toiletries to over 350 people! We would have done more but we ran out of supplies! Thank you to CMS administration, all of our wonderful volunteers and partnerships with Oldfields school, Sherwood Episcopal ChurchImmanuel Episcopal Church, Glencoe MD, and St. Joseph Medical Center (Towson, Maryland) who donated our Healthy Harvest boxes!!! There is need in our beautiful area and I am so honored to have the opportunity to help alleviate it!
Rat Infestations...EEK!
Last month while reaching out to constituents, I heard a lot of issues about rats in East Towson. After multiple communications of these issues to the County Executive's Office I am happy to announce they have developed a plan with a third party, Home Paramount, to work in the Loch Raven Village area to help with the problem. It will take several trips through the streets and alleyways but they will be as thorough as possible to ensure a healthy neighborhood.

If your neighborhood has been experiencing any rodent problems please let us know so we can help!
NCR Trail Workgroup has Convened!
Our workgroup in North Baltimore County focusing on problems and solutions with regards to use of the NCR Trail and Gunpowder River has begun. We have a great group of neighbors and users of the trail and river, representatives from the State Department of Natural Resources and County Recreation and Parks and together we look forward to making sure the trail and river stay safe, clean, friendly, and accessible to all.
School Re-Openings and COVID Data Transparency
While schools around the state are beginning to bring students back into the classrooms, the Maryland State Department of Health decided they will not share data about COVID cases within each school. To provide parents with the most and best information possible to be able to make their own decisions, I will be submitting a letter to the Department of Health asking them to release the data. We are all safer when we have information!
