Hosted by Flapjack Comedy Happy Ho-Ho-Holidays! This season, we’re getting silly with an amazing lineup on stage at the Sea Crest. And if good ol’ laughter isn’t good enough reason to get out of the house, this show is gonna give back to those in need by raising money for Wings for Falmouth Families. With Boston Comedy Festival finalist Mike Whitman headlining the event, and featured acts from musically-inclined comedian Dave Andrews, and “the funniest person in Massachusetts,” Carolyn Riley, this show is guaranteed to get you into the holiday spirit. Join us at the Sea Crest Beach Hotel on Saturday, December 15th at 8:00 pm for a night of non-stop laughter, all for a good cause. Come prepared for a 50/50 raffle to benefit Wings and for a jolly good time.

Rock That Ugly Sweater Christmas Benefit Party This year the Quahog Republic Dive Bar is partnering with Wings for Falmouth Families to help out 3 local families with a "Giving Tree!" Come in, choose a tag from the tree and bring back the unwrapped gift. Deadline for gift return is Saturday, December 15th . Join us at Quahog Republic Dive Bar after 7:00 pm for the " Rock That Ugly Sweater Party!" Enjoy the music of DJ Tundra, and prizes given out for the ugliest sweater! 2018 Alternative Gift Market A few weeks ago St. Barnabas Episcopal Church hosted the annual Alternative Gift Market. With more than 20 local and global non-profits participating, Wings for Falmouth Families was of course very pleased to be included. Visitors were able to make a donation to any of the organizations present in honor of someone, making for a fulfilling gift and getting some early holiday shopping done. Thank you to everyone that stopped by to learn more about Wings , and of course endless thanks for the generous shoppers that chose to support us. Remember, while we won't be able to accept any returns, we are certain that your gift will be a perfect fit!

Murder & Mayhem Gala The Gala Committee really killed it with the Murder & Mayhem Gala ... sorry, the dad-jokes are getting thick around here. October 27th was a dark and stormy night, but that didn't stop our generous supporters from helping to celebrate our 15th anniversary with their continued support. The suspects guests had their mugshots portrait photos taken, were able to bribe bid on a selection of wonderful experience packages and finally held captive captivated by a theatrical murder mystery by Hat Trick Mystery Theatre , including guest appearances from a few of your favorite usual suspects. On a more serious note, guests also heard the story of one family Wings has helped and how much of an impact we were able to make at a most critical time. Brian Clay was also recognized for his inspirational Aortaversary Fundraising Run , where he ran the same 18 miles as he had traveled one year earlier by med-flight for emergency open heart surgery. And finally, Deputies guests were able to take their chances on Heads or Tails , (hands on your own tail, please) with two lucky guests taking home a boat-load of booze prizes. AMVETS Christmas Tree Donation This holiday season, Falmouth AMVETS Post 70 will be working with Wings to donate Christmas Trees to families in need. Volunteers from Falmouth AMVETS will be bringing the magic of a Christmas tree to an extraordinary total of six families that have received aid from Wings . These benevolent elves will also be taking the time to set up the tree, string up the lights and decorate with ornaments. This is a fabulous example of the spirit that makes this community so connected. Thank you Falmouth AMVETS Post 70!

Year-to-Date Aid Summary With so many recent fundraising events, it's important to remember where your resources are going. Since September, your donations have helped 5 more families as they navigate a medical crisis by stabilizing their finances so they can focus on what is most important; being a family. With more than $38,000 being distributed to our families in 2018 so far, this sets an impressive new record for Wings . 2018 is also the 15th anniversary for Wings for Falmouth Families . As the year draws to a close, we are thoughtful and thankful for the infinite generosity of our many supporters this year, and for every one of those fifteen years. Thank YOU!
