WVCS has been learning from home due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. Fifth Grade has been utilizing Google Classroom to conduct its distance learning plan. Google Classroom makes collecting student work organized and efficient, minimizing the number of platforms needed since it also has Google Meet. With the Google Meet feature, teachers are given the capacity to teach virtually. While daily attendance is not mandatory, teachers have a virtual teaching schedule in which they are teaching and available for questions and help with assignments.
