This program focuses on contemplative leaders setting intentions to create resilient artistic communities through individual meditation skill share, collective support, and mindful leadership. Participants will meet over the course of 2025 to learn, meditate, discuss, grow, and lead together which will culminate in a capstone project shared with the group in early 2026.

ArtsBuild’s mission is to build a stronger community through the arts. This webinar features an overview and tools from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA). MHFA is a training program by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing that teaches people how to recognize and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges. Participants learn to offer initial support and guide individuals to appropriate professional help, promoting awareness and reducing stigma around mental health issues. Public Art for Spatial Justice, offered by NEFA, supports Massachusetts-based artists and organizations in creating public art that promotes spatial justice. The program encourages projects that help communities visualize and experience justice in public spaces. Grants range for projects taking place from March 2025 to February 2027. Apply: Rauschenberg Medical Emergency Grants
The Rauschenberg Medical Emergency Grants offer one-time grants of to generative artists in financial need who are facing unexpected medical, dental, or mental health emergencies. Eligible artists must have an average adjusted gross income of no more than $75,000 (or $150,000 for joint filers). Grants are for emergency medical expenses, not lost wages or living costs. Funding is limited, and applications are not a guarantee of an award.

Apply: Alchemy Artist Residencies
Alchemy’s Artist-in-Residence (AIR) program offers a unique opportunity to live and create in an immersive arts community on San Juan Island, engaging with both the island’s local community and fellow artists. AIRs can explore a range of artistic disciplines, collaborate across mediums, and create innovative work in a supportive, nature-filled environment. This residency provides an invaluable chance to share skills through workshops, mentoring, and community-based projects while focusing on personal art development. The program is open to visual artists, film/video artists, choreographers, and those with a passion for community engagement. Applicants should be experienced in their craft and eager to connect with the public through teaching and outreach activities. Ideal candidates are adaptable, enjoy collaboration, and are excited to share their work with diverse audiences. All wok exchanges will be 12 - 15 hours per week and include a stipend.
