Join Hearts for Sight Foundation and Amigos de los Rios for an unforgettable mountain adventure high in the beautiful San Gabriel Mountains!
Nestled within the Angeles National Forest, Chilao offers towering pine trees, fresh mountain air, peaceful forest scenery, and breathtaking views at over 5,400 feet above sea level. This special hiking experience will take us through shaded woodland paths, scenic mountain roads, and rolling terrain surrounded by nature.
Our journey begins with approximately one mile along a narrow single-track trail with uneven terrain and gradual elevation changes.
