Peace and Quiet: A meditation retreat – SPECIAL PRICING
With George Wiegand, Linda Copenhagen and Karmyn Ojeda
June 12 - 14, 2026

For this special retreat, we are offering a sliding scale.
Are you feeling burdened with stress and anxiety? Are global, national, and personal events feeling more overwhelming than usual?
When our world feels out of control or things feel uncertain and unpredictable, the most beneficial thing might be to slow down, to stop, and to not add to the chaos and commotion thatʻs already ensuing.
The antidote might be to take a sacred pause, to take a deep breath. Enter a space of non-doing. Create a space for meditation, contemplation, reflection, acceptance, and surrender. We discover that, even if we donʻt know all the answers to all of our questions, we have what we need to take care of ourselves, and maybe others. When we have access to our inner resources, the unknown becomes full of potential and possibility.
This weekend retreat is offered as a way to support folks who need some peace and quiet in the redwoods.

Finding Freedom Within – Independence Day Retreat
With Linda Copenhagen and Maria Helena Kubrusly
July 3 - 5, 2026

Our teachers are freely sharing their time and experience which allows us to offer this retreat on a sliding scale. We invite you to give what you can and warmly welcome you to join us.
This special retreat takes place over the July 4th weekend. We will join together in a spirit of reflection and community, honoring our shared aspiration for true freedom—freedom from suffering, confusion, and fear.
When life feels uncertain and the world around us unstable, how can we return to a place of clarity and peace? The Buddha taught that freedom is not found outside of ourselves, but through inner understanding. In times of challenge, these teachings offer a path to stability and strength.
During this retreat, we will draw from the profound wisdom of the Buddhist tradition presented in the writings of Tarthang Tulku. Through periods of silence, guided meditation, dharma talks, movement, visualization, and time in nature, we will explore what it means to come home to ourselves and rest in inner spaciousness.

Together, we will cultivate a deeper sense of ease, resilience, and open-heartedness —nourishing qualities that support us in living fully and being in the world with care.

July 17 - 19, 2026

In the quiet beauty of midsummer, this weekend retreat offers a chance to step away from the pace and pressure of everyday life and reconnect with what brings balance, nourishment, and joy.
Through meditation, Kum Nye Tibetan yoga, mantra, and restorative self-care practices, we’ll explore simple yet profound ways to calm the mind, open the heart, and renew the body’s natural vitality.
Together, we’ll cultivate appreciation, gratitude, and a deeper sense of ease, not as ideas to strive for, but as qualities that naturally emerge when we slow down enough to truly listen.
Held within the peaceful sanctuary of Ratna Ling, this retreat invites you to rest, reflect, and reconnect with the quiet wisdom already present within you. Whether you are new to these practices or returning to deepen your experience, the weekend is designed to support healing, clarity, and inner renewal.
A quieter nervous system is not a small thing. In a world that continually pulls our attention outward, learning how to return to yourself may be one of the most important forms of care there is.
