Ladybug Workshop: April 8, 7 p.m.
Parks & Rec, in conjunction with Master Gardener Terri Stephen and the UF/Miami-Dade County Extension, hosts a series of educational programs focusing on responsible gardening. The series begins Wednesday at 7 pm with a one-hour discussion/Q&A on Ladybugs. Come learn from our resident expert about this delightful creature.
Parks & Rec, in conjunction with The Institute for Regional Conservation offers talks at Thalatta focusing on our community and the environment. Our free 40-minute discussion/Q&A, April 9 at 6 p.m. is on "Restoring the Link Between People & Nature," how we can work with nature to restore ecosystems and create a strong a sense of place.
