New Hires

Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Joy Antonette B. Diaz who joins the HK team as an Associate Attorney. Joy graduated from Chapman University School of Law in 2017, where she earned her Juris Doctorate and ranked 8th in her class. In addition, Joy received various CALI Awards, including Negotiations, Criminal Law, Remedies, Juvenile Mediation, and Legal Analysis. Joy has recently been recognized for her outstanding work in family law and has been awarded the Rising Star designation by the Northern California Super Lawyers program. This honor is extended to only approximately 2.5% of attorneys in California. As the newest Associate Attorney to join Hoover Krepelka, LLP, Joy is on standby to provide clients compassionate and vigorous advocacy.

Many of our clients need healing from toxic relationships. We have added a new resource to our Client Resource Center and are pleased to introduce those seeking assistance to Dr. Rhoberta Shaler, The Relationship Help Doctor. Dr. Shaler works with partners, exes, and adult children by providing insights, strategies, and overall support to rebuild their confidence and regain hope in their lives.

She offers webinars, eCourses, videos, podcasts, individual private sessions and a private community called “Emerging Empowered” for clients to utilize in their own situations. Dr. Shaler extends her knowledge and guidance as an author of sixteen books, including her Escaping the Hijackal Trap and Stop! That’s Crazy and as the host of the podcast, Save Your Sanity Podcast: Help for Toxic Relationships. Her resources and programs are available for anyone who seeks change and peace within themselves and their relationships.
