To address the demand for ESD flooring, we’ve been able to reformulate our static-control materials to utilize advanced metallic composite additives rather than traditional carbon-based additives. This opens up additional supply options so we can meet our customer demands. Additionally, with our advanced knowledge in static control and materials science, we were able to develop these advanced material blends that provide exceptional ESD performance.

Next, we increased inventories of all of our raw materials and put in place rolling material orders, ahead of customer orders. This will ensure a consistent flow of raw materials.

Finally, we doubled the manufacturing capacity of our two interlocking options, giving us the ability to respond to short-term needs more quickly.

In these times, nothing is perfect and there are so many aspects of the supply-chain that create surprises. By implementing these actions, we have drastically reduced the impact the disruptions in supply have on our ability to meet our customers’ needs.
