#KeepUPWorking

The need for talent is still strong in the Upper Peninsula. One of the continual topics of discussion is the aging workforce. Manpower’s Quarterly Talent Pulse provides insight into workforce topics. For this quarter, the briefing is Will Baby Boomers Break the Workforce, which discusses how to prepare your business for change with the aging workforce and how to retain those employees. To learn more, contact Manpower at (906) 226-2211.

Take the chance to view the newly transformed Career Technical Education (CTE) platform! The CTE magazine has converted to a digital website that will continue to feature career paths in the trades, technology, agriculture, and much more. The website also highlights the different apprenticeships in various industries. Take the chance to explore the numerous careers today!

The Lake Superior Community Partnership understands the need for talent continues to be strong. Much like the resources mentioned earlier, the LSCP has information and opportunities for employers to help narrow the talent gap. An internal tool, Lightcast, pulls data to assist with talent attraction, wage studies, and how a business impacts the community. That is not all! The LSCP created #KeepUPWorking, a bi-weekly email to allow employers to showcase their full-time positions. To have an employment opportunity highlighted, click here to fill out the form.

Contact the Business Development Team today to learn more about how the LSCP can help you with your talent needs.
