Hello Friends!
As we've grown over the past few years, so too has the geographic reach of our placements. And while our roots continue to grow in Boston, New York, New Jersey and the Northeast, we've seen an increase in placements for clients in Upstate New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Kansas, Arizona, California, and beyond. It's been great to connect with so many of you!
This month we sat down with Allison Wollen, Chief Human Resources Officer at Mohawk Valley Health System in Utica, New York. Perhaps no industry has confronted employee burnout more than healthcare, and as the CHRO for the Utica-based hospital network, we were curious to hear how Allison’s faced the challenge while opening a beautiful new hospital facility. We also gathered insights from renowned leadership consultant Dr. Kim Janson on culture, potential, and aligning HR with business objectives. Dr. Janson is a foward thinking human capital leader who has helped guide such companies as HJ Heinz, Bank of America and Hasbro.
The relationship between CEOs and CHROs remains crucial so we’re sharing some tips to help you develop strong and impactful connections. We also invite you to consider the HRLF Leadership Development Program - it's a great program for recently landed HR Executives (1-2 years in role) or HR leaders who hope to rise to aspire to be a CHRO within 3 years.
Happy reading,
Alice Benson

Our team in New Jersey got together to meet with area HR Leaders while strategizing and collaborating on search work across the US.
There’s nothing better than meeting in-person. “Investing time to get together with colleagues is extra sweet when you normally work from different cities.”
