Karen Anderson, CHRO - Mimecast


We recently spoke with Karen Anderson, CHRO of Mimecast about her perspectives on company growth and employee retention. Before she was helping the cyber-security company grow its base of 1,800 employees across the globe, she was in the pharmaceutical industry, working for companies like Pfizer, Biogen, Bayer, and Alnylam. The BES team became a bit more harmonious this year with the addition of Joelle Lurie. The nationally-traveled performer, songwriter, and entrepreneur recently planted roots in Boston and has brought her skills to Benson Executive Search.
A Final Thought
Earlier this month was our wonderful three-day off-site!

Having a chance to connect with each other in new ways was so rewarding, and especially in these days where our interactions are so dependent upon wi-fi, to be together in person provided us with invaluable connections and great laughs.

We spent hours sharing great ideas, best practices, and understanding how different communication styles can best collaborate. Through life Science Cares, we were introduced Circle of Hope, a Boston-based non-profit that helps individuals experiencing homelessness, and we were able to put together COVID-19 Safety Kits and help fight this pandemic. To cap things off, we celebrated our good work with a team dinner at Painted Burro in Waltham.
