What We're Reading

Introducing Wonderbooks - the books that read out loud!

Wonderbooks are print childrens and young adult books with a ready-to-play audio book inside. Kids simply press play and read along with their favorite books, then after they are finished, switch to learning mode for literacy learning and fun!

Wonderbooks are now available at all nineteen libraries within Waushara, Green Lake, and Marquette counties through the cooperative purchasing provided by Winnefox Cooperative Technical Services (WCTS).

Find them on the shelves of many of our Winnefox libraries. Explore Wonderbooks in the library catalog (Fond du Lac Library users, start here) or visit the library to check one out today!

Helping Wisconsin Residents Get Affordable Home Internet

The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC) recently launched the Internet Discount Finder website, a new tool to help eligible Wisconsinites find free and reduced-price internet service: apps.psc.wi.gov/InternetDiscountFinder

The Internet Discount Finder quickly matches eligible Wisconsin residents to low-cost home internet service and discount programs by entering their address and identifying their eligibility criteria. The tool will show available plans from both national providers and local Wisconsin providers and describe next steps for enrollment in the Affordable Connectivity Program.

The ACP helps eligible households get a discount of up to $30 per month for broadband service and internet connected devices. It saves up to $75 per month for households on qualifying tribal lands.
