A New Look Inside Our Libraries
Our libraries are growing and refreshing to meet the changing needs of their communities. Check out these upcoming and recent renovation wins.
Brandon Public Library was recently awarded $473,000 toward their expansion project, which currently houses the Brandon Historical Society and museum, and will make the building handicapped accessible. U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, announced that more than $255.7 million in congressionally directed spending for Wisconsin projects she supported has been included in the bipartisan Omnibus Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2023.
Ripon Public Library is making strides toward renovations to the inside and outside of their location. Their "Thinking Outside the Books" capital campaign will create refreshed youth spaces, a teen area, and an interactive outdoor space to include a play space, performance stage, and stone steps to Silver Creek.
Ethel Everhard Memorial Library completed interior renovations to their space in 2022, thanks to Village and Library trust funds. Stop in to visit their new space!
