Summer has arrived in Tahoe! Hope you are all enjoying the mountain sunshine. Lots of fun updates this quarter.

The team is thrilled to once again be recognized as "Top Mountain Interior Designer" by Mountain Living Magazine! Check out the May/June issue where we are also featured in the Tahoe Spotlight section; it celebrates our seamless, all-in-one design experience from concept to completion.

Mountain Living Spotlight

I was honored to be a panelist at the National Kitchen and Bath Association's (NKBA) discussion of AI and its impact on the design industry. This experience confirmed my belief that AI is powerful a tool that offers a competitive advantage but won’t replace the intuitive, emotional and human-centric parts of design like understanding a client’s unspoken desires, crafting a sense of place or navigating interpersonal dynamics. The discussion inspirated our team to do a deep dive into the ways in which AI is transforming our business (see the blog article linked below).

Thank you to everyone who attended our April workshop, bouquet making. What a fun way to welcome spring! And thank you to the realtors (and non-realtors) who attended our realtor networking event, complete with food truck! A special thank you to Dena from Nova Tile and Megan from Porcelanosa who shared insights about tile and stone trends at our June workshop.

Get to Know Us...Mariah Lynn

Assistant Designer

Meet Mariah! Moving from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mariah joined us after graduating from Central Michigan University where she earned her undergraduate degree in Interior Design.

Her enthusiasm for art and design started at a young age, where she attended a secondary tech center for graphic design and focused on digital media and silk screen printing. She's got mad CAD skills and is a fantastic asset to our designers and the team.

Mariah enjoys snowboarding, cooking and loves animals including her 4 dogs and 2 cats!
