LET'S TALK ABOUT BEDTIME!

Bedtime Stories, Lullabies, and Cuddles
|
|
When our little ones are sleeping, their brains are busy building connections! Sleep is important for brain development, learning, and physical development. This week, we will share important research on sleep in early childhood, as well as tips on how parents and other caregivers can establish healthy sleep habits for their young children.
Talking is Teaching has tips and resources to help parents talk to their children, even those who are very young.

WIC is a supplemental nutrition program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). WIC is a federally-funded program that serves pregnant women, breastfeeding moms, postpartum women, infants, and children up to age 5.

The Soup Kitchen is where people are shown love. We feed them spiritual food along with food for their belly's. Showing them, maybe for the first time, that someone really does care for them.
Hot meals - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 11:00 am and 12:30 pm.

FOOD BOXES: To receive a box of food, recipients will need to sign up at the Chesaning CAER Center, located at 218 Church St., during the two weeks prior to the distribution date. Persons receiving a box of food will need to follow a set of guidelines that have been set by the Eastern Food Bank of Flint.
COMMUNITY SUPPER: Be sure to come and enjoy a free meal prepared right out of the church kitchen. The supper is held in conjunction with the food box distribution. Anyone wanting or needing a “free” meal is welcome to come eat with us every second Saturday of the month, 5 – 6:30 pm.
