Hi there!
November is a month of remembrance and awareness. We remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, we support men's health for Movember, and stand in solidarity with survivors of Domestic Violence by wearing a purple ribbon.
Stay healthy, practice physical distancing, and if you are sick, please stay home.

Store It, Don't Pour It. Grease and Sewer Lines Don't Mix...
|
Fat, oil, and grease build up in sewer pipes over time. This can cause sewer back ups in basements, roads, and water bodies and can result in both property and environmental damage.
Please do not pour grease down sink drains or toilets.
Dispose of cooled cooking fats, oils and grease into a container such as a can and dispose of it in the garbage.

While we are trying our best to offer quality events for our community, we are restricted to smaller group gatherings which has impacted our favourite annual events such as Light Up Blackfalds, Winterfest, etc. However, we are looking for alternate ways to offer activities either virtually or with smaller, controlled groups. Please follow our social media or events calendar for details.
Staff do plan to light up the park this year for your enjoyment, but will not be having the usual countdown or gathering.
