Talk to the Docs, Virtually, at the
SEA Blue Prostate Cancer Event on Sept 13
One exciting feature of the SEA Blue 2020 National, Virtual Prostate Cancer Walk and Run will be our "Talk to the Docs" chat room. During the event, registrants will have the opportunity to ask questions directly to medical experts who will be manning our chat room. Please note that only registrants will have access to this opportunity. Be sure to join us for a chance to interact directly with the following leading prostate cancer experts:
Dr. Stacy Loeb is Professor of Urology and Population Health at the New York University School of Medicine and Manhattan VA. Dr. Loeb is an internationally recognized expert in prostate cancer with more than 300 peer-reviewed published articles and 10 book chapters. Dr. Loeb hosts the Men’s Health Show on Sirius XM 110 US/Canada satellite radio on Wednesdays from 6-8 pm ET.
Dr. Alicia Morgans is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. She specializes in investigating complications of systemic therapy for prostate cancer survivors, including the study of skeletal, cardiovascular, diabetic, and cognitive complications of prostate cancer survivorship, and treatment decision-making for advanced prostate cancer.
Dr. Adam B. Murphy is an Assistant Professor of Urology and Preventive Medicine at Northwestern Medicine. He is also on staff at Cook County Health and Jesse Brown VA. He has been studying the health disparities faced by minorities in prostate cancer, and especially African Americans. He has been looking at the role of vitamin D deficiency, genomics, and biomarkers in disparities for men at risk of and already diagnosed with prostate cancer. Clinically, he is interested in general urology and men's health.
Dr. Scott Eggener is a urologic oncologist experienced in robotic and open surgery who specializes in the care of patients with prostate, kidney and testicular cancers. Dr. Eggener is co-director of the UChicago Medicine High-Risk and Advanced Prostate Cancer Clinic (UCHAP), a program that provides focused care for men at high risk for prostate cancer and those with advanced disease.

SEA Blue is a celebration of life, of those who have risen to the challenge to fight prostate cancer, of the lives that have been lost to the disease, and of the people we will help to combat it in the future through Support, Education, Advocacy, and Awareness (the SEA in SEA Blue).
