This week I visited with a Republican organization that represents the future of our party, the Texas Young Republicans (YR's). I thoroughly enjoyed my chat with YR President Hayden Padgett and Policy Director Jason Vaughn.
The YR's are fully engaged in the legislative session, working with legislators and educating their membership on important legislation and how they can help to pass important bills. We also learned about the campaign by the YR's to elect conservative candidates to local offices that will be on the ballot in May. I hope you enjoy learning about how Young Republicans are organizing and engaging. It will truly give you hope that we are in good hands with the next generation of Republicans!
The YR's are having a Legislative Dinner in a few weeks in Austin. If you are able, this is an excellent way of supporting the good work of the YR's. The backbone of these clubs is volunteerism but they need critical funds to advance their mission. More information below...
