Boots on the Ground: Your Latest Update from Tall Cop Says Stop™

Thankful.

What an incredible month! The momentum behind Tall Cop Says Stop™ keeps growing. Coming off an amazing 4th Annual Emerging Drug Trends Conference with our partners at Safe and Sound Schools, we’re more motivated than ever to support the communities and professionals we serve. If you attended the conference we hope your experience was fantastic. If you missed it we hope you will plan to join us next year!

Week after week, the Tall Cop Speakers Network and I are meeting new people, visiting new places, and raising awareness about what’s High in Plain Sight. Together, we’re building awareness, and are so grateful to the communities that have invited us to share our knowledge.

This month I was honored to publish an article in the IACP- Police Chief Magazine. In it, I address the dangers of "Gas Station" drugs and the impaired drivers that enforcement may come across on the highways. Read the full article below.

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones.

Legal but Lethal:

The Increasing Danger of "Gas Station Drugs"

Written by Jermaine Galloway for Police Chief Magazine November 2025 Issue

4th Annual Tall Cop Emerging Drug Trends Conference: A Powerful Time of Learning & Connection

The 4th Annual Emerging Drug Trends Conference wrapped up with record attendance, tremendous energy, and an unforgettable sense of community. From the moment the Dallas ISD Police Department Color Guard opened the event, the tone was set for a time of meaningful learning, collaboration, and impact.

Our presenters delivered outstanding sessions, diving into high-risk trends, digital safety, prevention strategies, and real-world interventions. Attendees were fully engaged, asking the hard questions, sharing experiences, and bringing a passion for protecting their communities.

The conference closed on an emotional and inspiring note with Kym Laube of HUGS Inc., whose keynote left the entire room motivated and grounded in purpose. Her message was the perfect reminder of why this work matters every single day.

We are incredibly proud to have created a learning environment that empowers, connects, and supports the professionals on the front lines. Thank you to the Team at Safe and Sound Schools, The Tall Cop Team, our sponsors as well as the presenters & attendees for contributing to this year’s success.

Get ready- next year will be better than ever!

"I’m an SRO... We have seen you a few times, to include recently at the SRO conference in AZ. My partners and I went to all the gas stations/liquor stores in our small town, and here are some photos of what we saw. It is literally everything you went over during the conference, including the new mushrooms. Thanks for all your info, we’ve been passing it along the department."
