Giving the same commitment to fine art as they do for excellent public service, more than 30 current and retired City of Tallahassee employees are part of this exhibition. The diverse artists come from many departments of public service.
There are nearly 80 pieces of artwork on display in a variety of mediums including photography, painting, and glass. Meet the artists and enjoy refreshments at the public reception on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm.

Wild Times at the Lucky Star

Grab your cowboy hats and get ready for a live Western cowboy musical at The Moon. Wild Times at the Lucky Star is an original boot-scootin' musical featuring a magnificent collection of characters who will steal your heart and have you rolling in the aisles. Watch as two English dandies mosey into a small town in the Old West to sell their wares and end up buying a run-down saloon.

Learn about one of the most exciting moments in American music through the artists who lived through it. Echo In The Canyon celebrates the explosion of popular music that came out of LA's Laurel Canyon in the mid-60s as folk went electric and The Byrds, The Beach Boys, Buffalo Springfield and The Mamas and the Papas gave birth to the California Sound.

Poetry and Storytelling Open Mic Night
Share your words, meet local authors, and make some new friends at this poetry and storytelling open mic. Sign up on arrival for a ten-minute spot to share your original poetry, prose, or story-you can even bring a selection from your favorite poet or author. Hosted by poet and artist Linda Marie, with special guest and local poet Cynthia Rose.
