Experience Tallahassee
Festival
At Capital City Amphitheater/Cascades Park
The Experience Tallahassee Festival is a partnership between FSU, TCC, FAMU, and the Knight Creative Communities Institute to welcome students into the community, and demonstrate that Tallahassee is a great place to live, work and play - during and after college.
Now in its fourth year, Experience Tallahassee will be introducing new elements to further showcase our diverse amenities and culture.
* Live, Work and Play sections, including a career- focused area for students to network with local business owners and talk with the universities' Career Centers.
* Performances by local arts organizations and student groups.
* "Taste of Tallahassee," featuring a wide variety of local eats.
* Local "ambassadors" to welcome and engage students.

The Trio: Longineu
Parsons, Brian Hall and Michael Bakan
Presented by The Wine House on Market St
Expect the unexpected when this innovative trio meets on the rug. From Louis Armstrong classics to meditative dreamscapes, hard-driving funk grooves to 18-beat Sumatran time cycles, and free jazz to down-home blues, Longineu, B-Hall, and Bakan bring it all together.

Presented by Opening Nights at Florida State University at Ruby Diamond Concert Hall
Experience Parsons Dance and its internationally renowned performances filled with energized, athletic ensemble work.
The company has toured to more than 445 cities, 30 countries, and 5 continents and has performed at such notable venues as The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Sydney Opera House and more.
Note: there is a sensory friendly performance in the afternoon. This autism-friendly performance gives the audience the freedom to express themselves and react openly while watching the dancers and hearing the music. Sensory stimuli, such as lights and sound, are modified and the theater will have designated quiet spaces to take a break. A Parsons Dance representative will navigate the audience throughout the performance, pausing between each piece to tell the audience what to look for and to answer questions.

Presented by Tallahassee Film Society at All Saints Cinema
This film finds hapless Southern railroad engineer Johnny Gray (Buster Keaton) facing off against Union soldiers during the American Civil War. When Johnny's fiancée, Annabelle Lee (Marion Mack), is accidentally taken away while on a train stolen by Northern forces, Gray pursues the soldiers, using various modes of transportation in comic action scenes that highlight Keaton's boundless wit and dexterity.

Presented by Goodwood Museum & Gardens
This one-act play begins when a couple encounters a thief in their home. Be astonished by the audacity of a thief and see if you understand his strange logic in this adventure through Goodwood's Main House.
The Main House provides not just a stage, but a live 360° experience as you follow the characters from room to room. Instead of the set changing behind the actors, the actors move from one set to another, and the audience follows. The Main House Museum provides the ideal background, as both the play and museum are set in the 1920s.
A wine reception and a unique "stage" make this a theatrical event to remember.
