Sundown Concert Series:
The Lee Boys
Presented by Tallahassee Downtown at Capital City Theater in Cascades Park
Enjoy a free concert by The Lee Boys right in the heart of Cascades Park. This funk-gospel band plays in the Sacred Steel tradition. In addition to the live entertainment, there will be lots of family-friendly activities including miles of trails, the Discovery Playground
,
and the Imagination Fountain.

See how artists capture the vibrant spirit, the beauty, the diversity and the detail of our finned and feathered friends. History at High Noon: Space and the Sunshine State
Presented by
Museum
of Florida History
Learn about the history of Florida and space expedition from Michelle Sunset, Exhibits Manager at Florida Historic Capitol Museum, as she talks about Florida-specific stories about the naming of Cape Canaveral Kennedy Space Center, the relationship between NASA and Disney, and astronaut John Young. She will also discuss the Florida Historic Capitol Museum's temporary exhibit, The Moon, Stars, and Sunshine State.

Cats live.
The show is set among a larger-than-life junkyard playground and is alive with dancing feline characters. One by one they tell their stories for the amusement of Old Deuteronomy, their wise and benevolent leader, who must choose one of the cats to ascend to The Heaviside Layer and be reborn.

Dance the night away at the Palaver Tree Theater Disco Ball. For one night only, the theater company will be transformed into a disco wonderland. This event will include open bar, food, silent auction, party favors, and live disco performances.

Hear local rock band Taller Trees perform an evening of soul rock at Food Truck Thursday.
Their R&B roots with funk and pop elements combine to make music that's singable, danceable, and thought-provoking. Enjoy outdoor live music by the lake while eating delicious food from local vendors.
