Hemingway's Cat

"Hemingway's Cat" is an
exhibition featuring Artur Popek's award-winning graphic prints that span traditional printmaking techniques such as etching, aquatint, dry point, and mezzotint. Both his whimsical paintings and prints offer a detailed view into the artist's imagination, often inspired by nature and civilization.

Nashid Madyun
will examine the fleeting consciousness of the Historically African, the enslaved, the enfranchised, and the caste and class residue of separate, but equal.

Anthony Dixon, Professor of History at Florida A&M University, discusses the relationship of Africans and Native Americans in the early history of Florida. The discussion will explore this relationship by anazlyzing topics from 1513 to the present. Event will be preceded by a short musical performance.
