"Congratulations to all of the Kentucky wines taking home prizes in the annual competition," Commissioner of Agriculture Dr. Ryan Quarles said. "This year’s competition demonstrates how Kentucky wines continue to grow in quality and appreciation."
"Every student knows they must eat to live," Quarles said. "This year’s contest is a nod to those who provide the products that sustain our very lives."
Union County was Kentucky's leading corn producing county in 2020, with production totaling more than 16.2 million bushels, while Warren County set a record-high county yield of 210.2 bushels per acre.
