Winter Stillness

Thank you to all who gathered at Breakfast with Santa last weekend. what a joy it was to see the little ones all dressed up and so excited to celebrate the season. As school wraps us this week and we get a chance to quiet down and spend time with family and friends, we wish you a very happy holiday season.

Our offices will be closed for a half day on Friday the 22nd and a full day on Monday the 25th. Next week our newsletter will arrive a little early and then take a break the week of the 25th. Remember to put your cans out on your regular service day - the refuse collection schedule will remain the same through the holidays.

Our next big event is the Crab Feed - keep an eye out for tickets, coming soon!

Have a wonderful holiday weekend!

TCSD Maintenance and Capital Improvements

You may have noticed some of the recent TCSD maintenance and improvement projects around Tam Valley. A few of the more significant projects include:

  • TCSD’s contractor has been replacing sewer main pipe around Eastwood Park. At its December 13thmeeting, the Board recently authorized additional sewer replacement work in the area by the same contractor. Click here to see Board agenda for more details.

  • We also have been actively removing dead or dying trees in the parks and open space properties. Southern Marin Fire District, graciously, offered the grant money it had available to fund the removals. Among the removals includes 7 trees in Eastwood Park and 2 in Kay Park. We will be replacing the trees in Kay Park.

  • The Community Center perimeter fence project has started. The contractor has been grubbing and clearing brush in the area in order to replace the fence.
