What to Do With Cardboard and Other Stuff

Did you know that TCSD has two small dumpsters located in the Tam Valley Community Center parking lot for residents to place their clean cardboard. If the dumpsters are full, please do not leave any cardboard on the ground. You’ll need to come back later when the dumpsters are empty.
Below are friendly reminders for what you can place in your green, recycling, and trash carts.

Public Safety Power Shutoff Address Alerts Provide Notifications for Addresses Other Than Your Home That Are Important to You, Including Schools or a Relative’s Home

Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) customers and non-account holders can now sign up for notifications for any address they care about to stay informed about Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS). High winds can cause tree branches and debris to contact energized lines, damage our equipment and cause wildfires. As a result, PG&E may need to turn off power during severe weather to prevent wildfires. This is called a PSPS.

It is important to remember that if you signed up to receive these alerts prior to June 2022, you will need to re-enroll for each address, to continue receiving these notifications through June 2023.

To sign up for alerts for any address that is important to you or a loved one, visit: www.pge.com/addressalert

Alerts are accessible in multiple languages by automated call and text.

Did You Lose Something in the Parks?
The TCSD office maintains a lost found of items left in the parks. If you are missing your favorite water bottle (left on the tennis courts), sweatshirt (in the parks), or other item, please contact us ASAP because we only keep items for 2 weeks before donating them to charity.
