Spooky Cruise - Winners!

Thank you all who entered the Spooky Cruise! We had three winners in different categories:

Fan Favorite - The Bone Yard

Creepiest - Fright Night Circus

Creative & Creepy - Spider Swarm

Thank you to all who voted and to our amazingly spirited community! There were so many homes decorated - not everyone entered the Spooky Cruise but we all win because the Halloween spirit is alive and well in Tam Valley!

Voting in the Community Center This Week

The Community Center will become a polling location this week so please be respectful with parking and sharing the space.

Elections officials across Bay Area encourage voters to cast ballots early

  • By mail: The last recommended day to mail your ballot is Tuesday, October 29. Ballots postmarked on or before Election Day and received by Tuesday, November 12, will be accepted. Mailbox pickup times vary, so check the posted mailbox pickup time before you drop in your ballot.
  • At a drop box: To any official drop box by 8 PM on Election Day, which is Tuesday, November 5.
  • In person: To any voting location or elections office by 8 PM on Election Day.
  • Don’t forget to sign the back of your envelope.

“With more ways and more days to vote, it is more important than ever before to make sure voters stay informed of varying deadlines,” said Gina Martinez, Monterey County Registrar of Voters.

Voters can track their vote-by-mail ballot to know when it is mailed, received, and processed by their county’s elections office. Sign up on the California Secretary of State website.

Additional Information and direct links to the Bay Area elections offices can be found on  BayAreaVotes.org, or the coaltion’s Facebook page, Bay Area Votes. Always go to state or county election officials for trusted source of nonpartisan election information.

Caution Around Our Garbage Trucks

Please remember to drive slowly if you need to pass one of our TCSD garbage trucks. Our streets are so narrow and we all need to be cautious. Stay safe and wave to your garbage guy!
