How to Join the HEAT:

  1. Complete your online registration form including waiver and volunteer area or buy out.

Volunteer Buy Out If you are in a season of life that you can't volunteer, we do offer a buy out option. Please note that this buy out option takes care of your HEAT volunteer requirement but does not include volunteering for activities/events that require each family participating to pitch in some way. For example, HEAT Wave Sports requires each family to assist in some way (coaching, clean up, hauling equipment, etc.)

Families who attend Open House and complete the registration process will receive a $10 coupon code for any HEAT activity!.

The HEAT Family Registration is $85 and good for 1 year from the date you join. If you are in a season of life where volunteering is difficult for you, you may pay a buy out of $85 for year. Please note this buy out covers your HEAT Volunteer Opportunity but does not release you from volunteering for events/activities where participants are required to assist in some way (clean up, set up, bring items, etc.)

Payment must be made online via card or e-check to complete your registration.

REGISTER YOUR FAMILY HERE!

We are transitioning to a new registration platform and you will need to complete your Family Registration form on Active before you can register for Fall 2025 opportunities. You must be a registered HEAT Family to participate in most opportunities.

You recoup your membership fees in savings on group field trips, free HEAT Family events (ice cream socials, park days, skate nights, Mom's Night Out, holiday parties), discounted FPEA membership and more! For around $7 per month, you can be a part of an active group that offers something for everybody!

We are a FPEA recognized support group and you will be able to join the FPEA at a reduced rate through the HEAT. FPEA membership entitles you to discounts at many local homeschool friendly businesses and a reduced admission to the FPEA Convention held in May in Orlando.

The HEAT runs the Homeschool Resource Center (HRC) located at 307 S. Parsons Ave. in Brandon. .
