Portland Dance Eclectic Sunday Tea Dance

Sunday, June 28, 4:00pm-6:30pm

A Sunday afternoon Tea Dance at Dance with Joy Studios in the heart of Sellwood. This time slot (4–6:30 PM) gives you the best of both worlds: a chance to arrive at a dance in the light of day, head home at a reasonable hour, and start the new week refreshed. Sellwood’s cozy, village-like atmosphere also makes it easy to grab a bite before or after, making this more than just a dance — it’s a full experience. Music by DJ Dennis Myers: — We’ll be flowing in right after an Argentine Tango práctica in the same space, so you may notice a tango-tinged energy in the air as we begin. Expect the usual Eclectic mix you love—waltz, blues, swing, world, soulful surprises—plus a few especially “tango-friendly” tracks. Come for your favorite styles, stay for the unexpected ones, and as always: dance what you know and feel, and help us make the room welcoming for newcomers and cross-over dancers alike.

Cost: $10 - $15 Sliding Scale. No one turned away (No Lesson)
