Tango Classes are now on Wednesdays!

January 2023

January 11 - group classes start again!

Argentine Tango Group Classes start at University Heights Center

Wednesday's 7:00 beg. and 8:00 int.

January 21 - 7:00-8:00

I will be teaching the pre-Dance swing/fusion lesson

January 22 - La Gaura Tango Tea

4:30 is the pre-dance close embrace lesson

5:30-9:00 is the milonga

January 26-29 - Richard and I will be dancing

in beautiful Puerto Vallarta at the Tango Festival.

This event sounds super fun, and is very affordable!

January 28 is a new Milonga at Club Sur 8:30-12:00

Greg Phillips will be the host and it will be on the last Thursday of each month. Sorry I will miss the first one, but I will be there Feb. 23

The Emerald City Hoedown, Seattle’s GLBTQ country-western dance weekend, is coming up again, and I get to teach at it!

2023 is off to a great start! My mom got a kitten and we are all in love with it. There is a picture of them at the bottom. You might fall in love too.

This kitten makes me smile, just like dancing and teaching does. I hope coming back to classes will make you smile and when you leave you will feel happy and satisfied that you did something great for your body, mind and soul. We all need to stay connected to all 3 things and dancing is one of the best ways to do it.

Classes will be the same fun stuff, but I plan to add more variety of music. I will try having every class do the moves to at least 2 types of music (tango, milonga, vals, nuevo, and alternative). I think it will make everyone dance more connected to the music, and I just love all the styles.

Tangosize continues to give and today I did it in heels!
