Password Journals
Do you ever feel like you have too many passwords to remember or have a system that makes you change your password every 6 months, only for you to forget what the new password seconds after making it? Between email accounts, Facebook, Amazon, and all our online accounts it can be a lot of passwords to have keep straight (especially when all these systems require you to use capital and lowercase letters, a number, and a symbol in a nonrecognizable pattern). For me, I found myself writing passwords down on post-it notes, only to lose the note by the time I needed it. This year, we are carrying a new product, a password journal. Much like an address book, it is organized by letter (A thru Z) and includes a space to write down the website, username, password, and notes. The back of the book includes space to write down your router/wireless information. We have three different styles, Garden Signs, Flight, and Sweetheart Gazebo.
It's time to decorate outside
This year we have a large selection of yard stakes, including a number of light-up stakes. They make a fun statement during the day and at night. We have put some of them up on our website, but also have them displayed outside our store (on our walkway).
Baby, baby, baby
Our baby section is growing again. With our third granddaughter on the way, we found ourselves excited about all the new baby items. We continue to have a wide selection of “Baby’s First Christmas” ornaments, but we also have a wide selection of books (including musical books, soft books, and board books), stuffed animals, socks (they were too cute to pass up), and small toys. And as we mentioned last month, don’t forget about “Flappy, the elephant” our singing, playful friend.
Graduation Time!
Old World Grad Owl
With the start of summer comes graduation celebrations. Whether your student is graduating kindergarten, high school, or college we have just the ornament to help commemorate their big day. For our younger students we have pencils, books, and crayon ornaments. For older students we have cap and gown ornaments as well as college specific ornaments. Ensuring that you find the right gift for all of your graduates!
German Nutcrackers and Smokers
We received our first shipment of German nutcrackers and smokers. For nutcrackers we have a large selection of princes, kings, drummers, and toy vendors. For smokers we have Santas, woodsmen, bakers, and clock vendors. We even have a few Halloween smokers. Quantities are limited so make sure you order your favorites today! And don’t forget to pick up some incense to use in your smokers.
Inge-Glas Ornaments
This last month we received our first shipment of Inge-Glas ornaments. These German made ornaments are completely made by hand, hand-painted, detailed and decorated. This means that each one is a unique piece of artwork. Each ornament is finished off with Inge-Glas' signature Five-Point Star Crown cap (a signature of theirs since 1987). We have 80 new styles this year. Some of our favorites are the Frosty Bear (2018 dated ornament), Mama Hedge, Clover Luck, and Snow Fun!
Towels
Here at the Tannenbaum we enjoy a good laugh with friends, but also with our merchandise. Some of our sassiest items are part of our Everyday Towel Collection. These flour sack towels are white towels with black writing. Thus allowing the words to make a statement, and they coordinate with anyone’s kitchen decor. Some of our favorite sayings are “I’m sorry for what I said when I was hungry,” and “If life gives you lemons, make lemonade….. and then find someone whose life has given them vodka, and have a party!” These towels make the perfect present for someone who likes to smile.
Department 56 - North Pole Village
Since no Village is complete without Twinkle Bright Trees, the North Pole isn’t complete without a Twinkle Brite Tree Factory . In front sits a real working Twinkle Brite Tree. Sculpted details include spools of wire being forged over an outdoor stove with drums colored bulbs stored in the back. The special ingredient is not a secret; a container of Liquid Sparkle sits atop the factory machines that work to create the magic! Don’t forget to get Testing the Twinkle , featuring an elf tests each Twinkle Tree before shipping.
Even with all the innovation in games and playthings, the most popular toy in the world remains a ball. Here at Bouncy’s Ball Factory , Santa’s elves, produce the finest balls, from kick balls to footballs. Details of this charming toy factory include the rotating beach ball to the super blaster air pump, used for final inflation before delivery on Christmas Eve. This piece features animated ball that spins, informing all that this is the place for toy balls. To accessorize this piece, we suggest Bear Down and Go , which shows a young elf picks up a game a football with two polar bear cubs.
If you have ever wondered how candy canes get their stripes, the whimsical North Pole Candy Striper factory reveals the trade secrets. The tiny stool in front offers industrious elves the chance to add creative stripes to a freshly made rotating candy stick.  Nearby tiny buckets of paint make adding stripes a breeze. This factory even has an animated pole that spins so elves can easily apply stripes. To coordinate with this factory is Puttin' On the Stripes , showing an elf painting a candy cane.
It’s the morning of Christmas Eve, and Santa’s reindeer are getting ready for the big flight. At Santa’s Hitching Station , grooming and pampering are completed before a nutritious meal is enjoyed. Finally, harness and bells are added, and the reindeer are ready to go! This is a limited-edition piece, each one is hand-numbered. Finish off this hitching station with Making Magic Reindeer Food Making Magic Reindeer Food shows the chef elf chops apples to add to the delicious and nutritious meal specially formulated to keep Santa’s reindeer energized for the night ahead.
Thanks for the gumball, Mickey! At “ Mickey’s Gumball Emporium” , Mickey and his North Pole friends are having a blast testing all of different gumball flavors! To coordinate this is Mickey's Big Bubble Contest . This set of 2, shows Mickey Mouse getting ready to judge the bubble blown by the 3 final contestants in the contest.
In case you are looking for something special to accessorize your village, we have two new pieces that could be added any North Pole village. First is the North Pole Gate , featuring 2 lit lanterns at the entrance and the door replicates an iron gate designed to complement the architecture of this series. Logo type sign welcomes both residents & visitors to this charming place we know & love as The North Pole. Second, we have a Christmas Kiss . With assistance from a helpful elf, Santa and Mrs. Claus share a moment beneath the mistletoe.
