Tara Augustine is named President of
Youth Consultation Services
We are pleased to announce that Tara Augustine has been selected as the next President of Youth Consultation Service (YCS) . The announcement follows an extensive, four-month search process facilitated by our firm. Tara will assume the role on June 10, 2019.
Tara is looking forward to her new role. “I have long admired the depth and breadth of services that YCS offers to our community, and I very much look forward to being a part of the transformative team that will work tirelessly on behalf of children and families. I consider it a great honor to be selected as their next President.”

Since 1996, Tara h as served in increasingly responsible roles at Care Plus NJ. She began her tenure at Care Plus NJ as a clinician, increasing her scope of responsibilities to Chief Operations Officer. Tara’s work at Care Plus NJ included launching several county-wide initiatives to ensure that children and families have access to high quality mental health care.

YCS Chairperson Dominick D'Agosta appreciates the services provided by Dennis C. Miller. "Dennis provided invaluable guidance to me, to our board and to the search committee as we worked to select a leader for our 100-year-old agency. We wanted someone who has the skill sets necessary to lead us into the future, in addition to having a passion for our mission. Dennis and his staff presented us with several outstanding candidates. The mission of YCS is to partner with at-risk and special needs individuals, birth through adulthood, to build happier, healthier, more hopeful lives within their families and communities. This mission is at work each day, helping to make a real difference in the lives of children - some have been affected b y trauma, many others are challenged by developmental/intellectual disabilities and co-occurring mental health issues. YCS also provides extensive community-based prevention programs to assist families before problems arise.
