City Seeks Community Input for Potential Central Tarpon Springs CRA

The City is proposing a new Community Redevelopment Area to assist and promote in the revitalization of the area generally located east of Safford Ave to US 19 and from Live Oak to just south of the hospital. Called the Central Tarpon Springs CRA, the potential designation would provide for property tax dollars to stay within the area and be used for redevelopment and preservation efforts. Public engagement sessions are beginning, and go to ConnectTarponSprings to learn more about the project and give your comments, ideas, and suggestions.
